Is this a glitch?

Alright, so I love the game itself... But was able to notice some issues on my first day.

The main problem Im facing is that certain quest rewards (dragon food *mutton and beef*) are always absent from my feed slot.

The game itself doesnt provide enough information for new players (leading to unnecessary actions and/or a flood of un-answered questions in the chat boards) and a quick attempt at reporting some of the issues through the settings "report a bug" selection also revealed the absence of that particular section on the website.
